Nebosh Training Courses 

(National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health)

The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health offer a variety of nationally and internationally recognised qualifications in the health and safety field.

Qualifications are recognised by the relevant professional membership bodies including the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).

Nebosh General Certificate

Here at Progressive Safety Solutions we are a Nebosh accredited centre and currently offer the Nebosh National General Certificate which is a Level 3 health and safety qualification and the usual prerequisite for most health and safety positions.

The Nebosh General Certificate is divided into 3 sections as follows:

bulletManagement of Health and Safety (NGC1)
bulletControlling workplace hazards (NGC2)
bulletHealth and safety practical application (NGC3)

Successful accreditation involves 2 x written exam papers covering NGC1 and NGC2 plus a practical assessment which involves a written report.

No previous health and safety knowledge is required for candidates wishing to complete this course.
